The Easter Bunny came EARLY!

Wisconsin's Easter Bunny was in a mad dash to get in, out and back home to the warmth of a fireplace...fireplace ya say??!! Woke up yesterday to 4-5 inches of snow! Gotta love the weather!

We colored our eggs the other night and for the most part it was fun...stressful but fun. Marissa decided all of her eggs were balls and kept throwing them into the dishes of dye and Dominick decided it would go quicker to just use his fingers to dip the eggs. They turned out great though, now I just need to find people to eat them!

Paul works tomorrow and wouldn't have been around in the morning when the Easter Bunny comes, so our bunny came early tonight, 7 pm. We were all upstairs and Paul saw the bunny running from the house, the kids made a mad dash to see if anything was left, and boy oh boy did we hear screams! Each of the kids got a chocolate bunny to eat, M&M's, Egg gum, a kite, 3 outfits, bubbles, a book, a jump rope and silly putty. What the heck was the bunny thinking SILLY PUDDY????!!

I'm so glad we are all feeling healthy, but now my brother and his family are sick, hopefully they will feel good enough to join us tomorrow.

Mommy said: "Brittany why are you in Summer PJ's?"

Brittany replies: "Mom the snow's almost gone, SEE!!"

Hopefully all the eggs were found...

Updating

Sorry about no blogging. We have been sick. Brittany started about 3 weeks ago with a stomach flu which was passed pretty much down the line, Andrew is about the only one not sick. This week Brittany is getting over influenza (not confirmed by test OMG she flips when we do a strep test!!!) and I am in the midst of it!
Like I said Andrew has really been the only one not sick...keep fingers crossed this all passes!

Brittany's Bible

Brittany received her bible this past Sunday. She was so excited to stand up in front of the congregation along with her friends and accept her bible with open arms. She quickly went back to her seat and started reading. Brittany also brought her Bible to school for share time and read some passages for her teacher.

Paul and I are so proud of the wonderful, young woman Brittany is becoming. She is making wise choices and has vowed to use her Bible and God through hardships she might endure.

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Unlike my first pregnancy, Andrew's pregnancy was farely smooth sailing. The doctors starting inducing me on Feb 21 around 7 am. I progressed all day long and about 6 pm I got the famous epidural! Yes it was great! But about 9:30 all contractions stopped. At this point I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep but my doctor said if we didn't start a pic (?) line to re-induce labor I would have to go through everything the next day, God knows I didn't want to do that! It didn't take long for contractions to pick up where they left off. At 12:00 am my doctor broke my water and at 12:22 am my beautiful boy was born.

8lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long.

Today Andrew is a night owl and wakes up extremely early in the mornings, he loves to cuddle and play with mommy's hair but he's still a rough and tough boy.

Mission Trip....Need HELP????

I am hoping to get a mission trip started and I need help. I have no idea where to begin, who to talk to and what to ask. Do I start with my pastor, Church or the directors of Eagle's Nest where we adopted Marissa & Dominick and where I would like to head?? How long do I need to plan in advance (obviously money needs to be saved).

So anyone have any ideas, anyone planned one before or is anyone heading to Guatemala/Eagle's Nest already later this year????

I don't know what goes into creating the background, obviously or I would of done something myself, but she did it in just a couple hours from when I first contacted her!
